ok so this is my first time in this part of the forums. when i bought my 90 gt all i cared about was fast.lol but the two blown speakers and ****ty sound are getting old. so i want to upgrade to something better. i dont know a damn thing about sound equipment. i was wandering if you guys could help. i want something that sounds nice with a good base. what should i get. what kinda amp, speakers all that sorta stuff. im not looking to spend a bunch but i want something nice. im also worried about weight. so any and all comments are welcome.

any bass you add will thus add weight. if you dont want to spend that much, maybe you could settle for something as small as one 10...to keep the weight as small as possible...you could still get decent bass...especially if your 90 is a hatchback. i have memphis equipment, it is not that expensive, but it is pretty nice. for your 2 blown speakers...whatever brand you get...youre going to need 5 x 7's...just in case you werent sure of the size. you can probably get one 4 channel amp to power the sub AND your speakers, thats what i did at first and it worked fine. and if u wanna keep the price and weight down, might as well just have 1 amp. shop around for brands at good prices. after you get some brands in mind...come back and ask about them...and people will encourage you or yell at you for even considering such a thing.

That's like recommending a Ferrari to a 16 year old.

W7 is an SQ sub so if he is looking for high spl then thats not the sub for him and if he dosnt have a grand for a sub then thats not the sub for him either.
