its just going to change how it sounds if you put stuff in your trunk. i would deffintly just use a sealed box i think youll be much happier

if you have a budget, then put that money to the side and make ur budget bigger. get what you want, not something to hold you over.

If building a box is to hard have a cabinet maker in town do it for you. Won't cost very much and you will be much more satisfied with the results.
