hi , im wondering if anyone has mounted a ps2 in a 99-04 Gt and how , or if they know of any do it yourself sites where some one expains how they have done it. please let me know . thanks

where do you plan on mounting it? you could put it in the trunk if you wanted... or maybe on the rear deck but that would be tacky.

ive seen people take out the passenger airbag and put it in there

that's nice, if you get in an accident you get a face full of PS2...


I'm not quite sure where it would fit in a Mustang, it seems like that kind of thing is more what I'd have in an SUV, like the Explorer I used to have.

Yea, send this over to the audio/visual section and you might get some better ideas from the people in there. But maybe if you get a rear seat delete you can mount it to that.

I had mine under my seat in my Lincoln, and in the glove compartment in my Intrepid. Don't think an original one will fit in the glove box of a Mustang. if you got or would get one of the slim ones your options are almost endless. Those things are only about a foot long 8" deep and less than an inch tall. You could put it in the center console. If your going to do the wireless thing you could get those thicker zip ties and put it under the passenger side of the dash and just mount it so that when the door opens you have access to it. it'd be almost completly out of sight too. BTW what are you using for monitors?
