I can buy a new 2006 GT Deluxe for $24,000, it has everything I want but they didn't upgrade the basic system.

Is it really bad?

Compared the the Shaker systems, yeah, it kinda sucks. Compared to any other stock audio setup, no, it isn't bad. If you can't stand the stock system, you can always upgrade.

If you do not get the shaker upgrade you do not get the pods in the doors you will only have the opening for the stock speakers 4x8 or 5x7 not the 8" opening for the sub.
