I appreciate your opinion, however, my opinion is that a lot of people...like myself, will not care as long as they look good. Also, if I were that worried about it, they can always be mounted downward or out of site.

I think Duals look good (even though they don't perform well) they look good IMO. I say go for it. It would be a fun project and if it's a car show then people are going to be there for the car not the subs. At least thats what I look for at car shows.

They are 12" subs.

if you look at the manuls for the subs it will have some sizes that the box should be. that will let you know how much room you need. I have my subs up next to the back seat.

Thanks for having my back on that. I am still looking for some design ideas, but nobody will post their pics.

I kinda got an idea from erick valdez (autobadges) showstang.com and i'm going to do kind of the same thing except with a twist. Insted of holes i'm going to do a flame cut out and then I'm going to put orange yellow and red neons in the backgroud so the flame is lit up. I'm also going to put some audiobahn grills on (maybe the dub edition idk yet) and then accros the top I might put MUSTANG in chrome letters. IDK I have some other idea's but i don't like them very much...

Thanks for the great idea. I did end up using that idea. I am almost completed with my project, does anyone want me to post step by step and photos?
