Default Bridging a 4-channel

I know this is a newb question, but can someone give me a walkthrough or a link to a place that has one about bridging a 4-channel amp for use with just subs. The subs are 1 channel as i understand, the reason for the big amp, is future sound upgrades (this isn't my car, it's my friends).
Any advice would be appreciated.

the best thing to do would be to bring it to a local audio shop, Im interested in how you do this to because I dont really want to buy another amp for subs when I have one that pushes over 600

Bridge the two front channels and run a sub off those.

run the speaker wire to the positive side of channel 1 and negative side of channel 2 and then speaker wire from the second sub to positive on 3rd channel and negative on channel 4,or front and rear,u get the picture

^^ yep, thats all you have to do... just look at channels 1 and 2 as one whole channel and channels 3 and 4 as another... positive from chan. 1 and negative from chan. 2 and so on.....
