Reverse mount
What would happen if I reverse mount my subs in my box..or reverse mounted one of them? WOuld it make it louder? Clearer? Or would it be a total waste of time? Why do the people who enter sound competitions reverse mount their subwoofers? Thanks to who ever answers..

the only thing that will change is the volume of the box because it dosnt have to have the sub in it. itll sound exactly the same unless it has a nosie back plate or motor.

it s the back part of the sub where the magnet is or the motor is what moves the subs. if they make noise when in operation then you dont want to reverse mount them cause they will make funny sounds.
I reverse mounted both of them..They are Rockford Fosgate P2 10's.. I like how they sounds reversed. I was also wondering if I keep them reversed and make a box does it matter what size the box is? or how much cubic volume it has? Thanks..
