Default Mach system - Adding a sub

I'm trying to add a sub to the stock mach system in my 2002 GT, but the rear wiring layout is a bit confusing. What I'd like to do is use a line (high-low) converter to take signal from the rear deck speakers, but I see that they have individual amps. Which wires should I be splicing from to get the signal to my converter?

Also, since they are powered, could I just splice from the existing amp inputs to some RCAs, thus avoiding the converter?

Thanks in advance.
