Hey, i was wondering if anyone has put a mach 1000 system into a car which was originally equipped with a mach 460 system. Is this possible, how much would it cost, and what's the pain in the @$$ factor. Thanks a lot for any info

 

You might as well just put in new aftermarket ****.

 

I was trying to stay away from aftermarket stuff. I have heard the 1000 system in person, and really like the way it sounds, and i want to keep the stock appearance. I know it's probably easier to go aftermarket, but that's not the route i want to take. Thanks for any info anyone's got.

Try looking for a wrecked mustang that has the Mach 1000 and that is parting out...That would be the cheapest route.

 

I would imagine that replacing the 460 for the 1000 will cost a pretty penny. Easily 2000 (just a guess)
