Default Mach 460 amp problems

I recently installed a alpine deck with all the appropriate wiring harnessness from metra but after it was in the amp sounded like it started to hum out of the rear speakers. Can anyone help please?

Hmm sounds like you might have a bad ground or two wires touching somewhere. You will have much better sound if you rip everything out and rewire all your own stuff. The wire harnesses dont really work too well in my opinion because the mach 460 wasnt made to work with aftermarket stereo equipment. The mach 460 are junk in my opinion. Thats the first thing I did with my car when I got it.

The Mach 460 is not "junk." It's acutally one of the best factory set-ups you can get.
