Default I-pod, headunit

is it possible to set up an I-pod to play directly through to the stereo? if not and i end up replacing the head unit do i need to replace all the speakers and have it rewired or can i just have Best buy slide in a new headunit, as i will not be doing this myself.

You can use an FM modulator to play it through the factory stuff or you can purchase a aftermarket headunit with an AUX imput on the bak then just purchase an RCA to Mini cable and your good to go. YOu should just do the work of installing the headunit yourself. Its incrediblely easy and only takes a few hours.

Well if your not gonna do the work yourself, I advise you to stay away from bestbuy at least for the install and tell the salesperson that you want your aftermarket deck to have an AUX imput and dont buy crappy stuff!!

the cable should cost no more then ten bucks. You can bypass the stock amps but the sound will be fairly dull if you dont have amps in the system.
