can anyone tell me where the Mach 460 amp is located in an 02 convertible? before I go ripping panels off... thanks, -Dan

 

im not 100% sure about how the 02 is, but i think the late models are the same. I have an 01 convertible with the mach 460 and this is how it's set up: there is 1 amp inside the factory head unit to power the front speakers, and there are two amps in the back on eaither side of the convertible motor to power the subs and rear tweets. To get to those, just climb in the truck and pry back the cover on the inside of the trunk, if you wanna take that off, there are several of those annoying christmas tree plug things that u have to take off near the trunk opening.
