+1, and if you own a bullitt, you should probably know these things, since you own a special edition stang, its like a mach owner not knowing they have 4v heads.

you have probably already doen it but i woulsnt suggest shorty headers....................you gunna lose a little bit. get long boys!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok kids. point is the exhaust is NOT the same. http://www.automobilemag.com/reviews...ang_bullit_gt/ READ IT. And to continue the original discussion, I put 2-chamber flo's, magnaflow mandrel tailpipes, and 2.5" pipes from the cat back, and I don't think its loud enough. I mean it is definately loud, but it all depends on what you want. But if you want it LOUD, you really gotta go xpipe or high flow cats.

heres to the dude talking about ford investing time to make them sound the way they do. yea this is true, but ford also invested alot of time in building these cars so theyt could be modified.

bbk long tubes, off road h, mac flow path cat back , 4 inch magnaflow tips, its loud plus all you here is my comp cam don't ford did put a different cat back system on the bullitt from the gt if you didn't know so maybe bullitt archieve would help out.

o/r x = nascar sound(but very very loud)

o/r h = deep muscle car sound

long tubes, o/r x, and slp 1's ftmfw <that will make your ears ring

ok guys everyone knows there are many ways to make ANY Stang louder but our Bullitts do have a signature sound thanks to the Arvin mufflers (also on stock Corvettes-hate to say it). There is nothing sweeter than hearing a loud stang but I did not want to part with the stock mufflers, so my solution was to do an off-road MAC Pro-chamber which gave it a deep big block sound. If you are looking for the extreme, go with a SLP loud mouth from the stock headers/manifolds back. And do not go with a bigger diameter (2.5 inch) as you will lose valuable torque unless you are going with a turbo or supercharger. Skip the headers option too-not worth the minimum gains for the sound difference and small HP gains. The angriest Stang I heard is my buddies 96 Cobra with an X pipe (off road) with 1 chamber Flomasters. They are vicous sounding mufflers. But that is super loud. Options are endless for exhaust....good luck but chose wisely.
