I think what we're trying to say is dont line up with a mach or cobra (even with your k&n kit) and expect to win. It usually won't happen (stock for stock, equal drivers blah blah blah).

ford corrected the hp to 275 a few years later, it has a solid rear axel as opposed to the cobras irs, and the cobra is more like 305 hp with 320 trq, almost identical to the cobra, and we are not talking about beating a mach with a gt, its a bullitt to a 99-01 cobra.

So a differnt intake gives you 15 more hp? And how do you figure a cobra has only 305? My 97 cobra has 305, and there were upgrades to the 99 and 01s.
Whatever though...I really dont have the desire to argue with people over the internet. Just get out there, smoke some cobras with your bullitts, and make us all proud. (Doesn't that just sound rediculous?) Whatever.

For those of you who like to criticize our Bullitts, (1) Have you ever driven a Bullitt? If not, find one and drive it, that would explain alot to those that don't understand the difference between a "GT" and a Bullitt. It is more than an intake and exhaust. (2) If you don't like our cars, we don't care. Most of us are true car people and can appreciate any nice cars, even those evil bowties, if you can find a nice one. Most of us are not the straight line, 1/4 mile types. We like cars that turn and stop as well as go fast in a straight line. (3) We don't bash everyone else in their forums, so if that is all you want, do it somewhere else.
