Bullitt for sale in SoCal...
I did a safety inspection for my dealership on a 2001 Blue Ford Mustang Bullitt, which we got in on a trade. I'm pretty sure it's going on the line in a few days...
I'm the Used Car/Smog tech there, BTW...
2001 Blue, 59,000 miles, new BFG tires,Tokiko shocks, and good brakes...
Unmodified, was owned by a Marine in the area, Motorcraft oil filter, (a good sign), no accident damage, great clutch, good black interior, all books, Mulroney ($27,000 new, plus change!) The left headlight has a dark area at the bottom, not sure what it is, but the car goes arrow straight, and I could find no signs of it ever having been aligned!
It has the aluminum intake manifold (I was expecting plastic), red painted calipers, subframe connectors (stock on this model?), and urethane bushings on the front sway bar! It runs strong, and it smogged easily.
We all fell in love with this car, I wish I could buy it!!
I found the hologram sticker on the left shock tower, tomorrow I will try to find the hidden one behind the rear seat, and Ill get the number, also...
It's at Sterling BMW, 3000 West Coast Hwy, Newport Beach, Pre-owned Dept.
I'd hate to see it go to a spoiled rich kid!
Maybe someone out there who can appreciate this car for what it is can use this info...
Hope this helps...
Chris
