i was looking into getting a short throw shifter. does anyone have any suggestions on which one to get?? i want one that will look stock,... thanx

MGW is what I have heard is the only way to go.

MGW is a quality unit, and can be adjusted for "reach", which most ot the competition cannot. However, if you position it offset very much, it will no longer look very "stock".

Of the non-adjustable-handle items out there, I like the Steeda Tri-Ax (which I have on my car).

They are all pretty nice upgrades - easy installs - and immediate gratification.

Hard to go wrong.

PS - They can all be installed to look stock. Keep the stock shifter **** and boot, and keep the orientation pretty straight up, and you can't tell them apart unless you have it in your hand.

They should all be basically the same. Great upgrade. I'v got a spare

I started out with the steeda tri-ax and upgraded to the mgw it blows the tri-ax out of the water never miss third life time warranty can't beat it.

with the cover over it they all will look stock depending on the ball you out on top.

i have the steeda tri-x short throw. i love mine very short and has a spring to shoot you into 3rd

PM'd ya today. No you won't have to cut the boot. Easy install. Good idea to change your tranny fluid at the same time.
