Default bullitt manifold

Is there anyway to keep this thing cool? It heats up like no other and I wasn't sure if I was losing power because of how hot it gets.

maybe making the hood scoop funtional and getting an outside source of air on it would help.

A buddy of mine has a Bullitt intake and was having the same problems. He installed a shaker hood setup and it reuced his intake temperature dramatically. They are a bit pricey, but thats an option for you.

dont make the scoop functional itll add serious drag to the car. the firewall isnt all that aerodynamic. get the ron anderson intake wraps throw it in the freezer at night and put it on in the morning. it will get warm but it will keep the heat from escapeing and heat from coming in
