As a Bullitt owner, I would suggest GEARS first.
3.73 is a good all around daily driver street gear. If you want performance more than anything else, get 4.10 gears. You will need a hand held tuner to correct the speedometer reading, but that will be good for all of your future mods as well.

Another nice mod, is simply adding an O/R H-pipe. It will flow better and sound more agressive without being obnoxious.

*this will also give you some possible trouble passing emissions depending on how strict your state is (no cats) mom and pop shop is your best bet if you go this route

A nice set of mufflers will liven up the exhaust tone along with a midpipe of your choice... youtube will help you out with picking out exhaust setups along with searching this forum as there are countless threads on exhaust

goodluck

Bullitts come with good stock mufflers that flow 20% better than GTs (sound is pretty comparable to Flowmasters). Simply adding an O/R H-pipe will make it sound good. I install my catted mid-pipe for three hours each year to get inspected, then it goes back into the basement for a year.

+1 on gears and a tune, I'd go 4.10's honestly.
