The profile reminds me of a 350Z the way the top slopes back to the rear....I don't like it at all. Unless of course it looks better in person, but I doubt. it. Hell, I'm still thinking about buying a complete new 2012 front end and hood for the 13.
Yeah, they are doing the same shape that every other car has now days. Kind of sad but every car company wants to consolidate their brands now days as can be seen by the new Sport Fusion... er, Mustang. But that's about how it always goes, isn't it? Look back at classic muscle cars. They all had a very similar shape and design with their own twist or intricacies to make them their own. Look at the 80s when everything got all boxy and square. Now we're going to this low profile, long hood, curvy look. For some reason it's hard for any company to be unique and different, but at the same time it just depends on what's popular and sells well. They aren't interested in what a few people think look good, they are interested in what the overall view of the design is and now if the Mustang is supposed to be sold world wide they are trying to appeal to an international market which already isn't a fan of these types of cars, so they are destroying the heart and soul of these cars with the hopes of gaining customers that don't like them in the first place.
Either way, I'm really not a fan of a plain stock S197 either as I find them a bit boring as well, so we'll have to see what people can do with them. I'll never own a Mustang that's stock, so stock only matters so much to me.

Looks like Car and Driver was pretty damn near spot on. Hopefully the GT follows these lines much more. Thursday needs to hurry up so we can see the real deal instead of "leaked" images.

Oppss...Forgot that one....LMAO
I hear you, but that was mostly isolated with the markets. The old American Muscle cars did look pretty much the same in ways, but I don't remember them resembling the the import cars. I hear what you're saying about the global market and trying to fit in with other countries....I just don't like it.
