I am starting to dislike pickup trucks.
This morning on the way to work I am behind a truck on I-40 rolling at about..the speed limit.. and a milk jug comes flying out of the bed of this truck. I had no choice but to hit it. It sounded like I had hit a brick wall. Of course it happened right before my exit so I couldn't get his plate # but when I got to work I got out and walked around the front of the car, my lower grill was just barely hanging on and it broke the black plastic belly pan. I will go back out once the sun comes up to make sure it didn't cut any lines or anything but I monitored the gauges the rest of the way here to make sure it wasn't dumping coolant or oil.
Moral of the story.. what goes in the bed does NOT stay in the bed at highway speeds and a plastic milk jug is equal to a cinder block at highway speeds.

And of course it's raining so I can't go out and see if it's leaking any fluids!!! I had just replaced that plastic piece because the previous owner liked to run up on the parking humps..
Like my poor car doesn't suffer enough abuse being a daily driver. LOL.
