If ya'll know anyone who would be interested in joining our club, please let them know we are here. I'd like to expand our active membership outside of just Charlotte and Western NC meets, but we don't really have the numbers to do so yet.

If we can get some more nuclei of membership, then we can start doing more in the different areas.

Things will evolve organically I'm sure, but it would be nice if we could create hubs around:

- Charlotte, NC
- Raleigh, NC
- Columbia, SC
- Myrtle Beach/Charleston, SC
- Somewhere in Eastern NC (Jacksonville, Wilmington, etc.)

This way, we could organize more local events, and then team up for group events, rather than just having things in Charlotte or Western NC all the time.

I know this is a tall order, and will take time, but the only way to make this happen is to bolster active membership in these specific areas.

Once we get enough membership, I'll also work on getting us a VP from the Eastern half of the region to help run things over there since I can't make it to much in that area.

I pimp the group any time I can. It's only fair I guess since I advertise for the Heart of Carolina club here.

 

Oh I'm sure most of us do, and the shirts and whatnot will help. Just throwing it out there. I feel like some of our Eastern members are losing interest or not coming around because we never have anything for them...but we just need more members in their areas so we can start working on meets.

 

I am sure we could get some of us together for a cruise down their way. Maybe after football season we can do something.

 

I'll be wearing my shirt at the next HCMC meeting a week from Thursday. I know there's at least two guys in the club who are also on the forum, but I haven't seen them here lately.
