Default Western NC/Upstate SC Body Shops?

Does anyone have a preferred body shop in the area? I have a pretty extensive amount of work I'm hoping to get done in the next month and I'm trying to find a reputable place to get it done at.

I have no idea what to expect pricing wise, but I figure I'll deal with that aspect of this as it comes.

I'm looking for a place that can handle a front end conversion, side skirt conversion, dent removal, and paint.

Any ideas are appreciated. Hopefully the Triad GTG was the last time any of ya'll will see my car looking like she did!

Hunter - Bob Keen's in Hudson carries a good reputation as does Church's Body Shop in Granite. I was told the Paint Shop does really good work, but when I went by he wasn't busy at all (don't know that means much). I heard that Caldwell Body Works on Connelly Springs Road does good work.

Good luck, I really want to see her when she is done.

Do any of these shops specialize in Mustangs or are they all just general body shops?

Not that it's a huge deal, just wondering.

Just general body shops. I don't know anyone in the area that specializes in Stangs.

Ran by Bob Keen's today, really nice guys. Quote was just under $1500. I didn't make it to Church's until 4:57 and they were gone, so I'll run by there on Monday.

I'm also going to check ABS. I'm not sure about the quality of their work, but I want to see the price quote (they are typically much lower than other shops).

I've gotten estimates from Bob Keen's, Church's, and a place called ABS in Lincolnton (dad recommended them).

I felt most comfortable with Church's, but they wouldn't give me an estimate on anything except the dent until I bring the parts in and they see what shape they are in.

I've heard a lot of good things about Bob Keen's though, and I think those two will be comparable in price ($1500).

ABS in Lincolnton I didn't like as much, but they are noticeably cheaper ($1060). I didn't feel as comfortable there, but they did some work on my V6 and a few of my dads cars and have never failed to impress (but this is much more extensive work).

I'm in a bind right now because I can't decide if I should go with price, comfort, or quantity of recommendations...

HT
I would go with the place you are most comfortable with. I find that your gut feel is usually correct. You'll hate it if you pick the place on price and they screw it up.

Church's, like Bob Keen has been around a long time. I don't think you will go wrong with either. Be sure to post pics of the rebuild.

Yeah she's currently at Church's. I'm going to run by today and see if they'll let me check out what has been done so far.
