So, there has been a bit of interest expressed in another thread about having club members pitch in to purchase an Auto Edition Go-Pro so that we can film our cruises from an exterior mounted camera.

We decided that it's not really warranted for one person to purchase one (not used enough), but if the group goes in and gets one ($10-$20 a person), then it would be worth it. We would keep it with one member, and if they couldn't attend a meet, then we would send it to someone who would be there so that it is used whenever possible.

If you are interested, please post here, and if we get enough interest I'll start a Paypal account for the cause.

299 for the auto kit. Right now we are at 50 each. Thats doable for me. I didnt want to shell out 75 or more, tank of gas i can live with.
