Default Drunk drivers

Drunk drivers suck!

Found out yesterday when I got home from work that my uncle was hit and killed by a drunk driver. He was a great man, and his 6 year old son is now without a father. He was working with the Oregon Department of Transportation, at the time placing warning signs for the work up ahead. Unfortunately incidents like this are not uncommon, so I would ask people to please pay attention to these road/highway construction workers and obey the posted speed limits in work zones... They're there for a reason.... But most of all, please don't drive drunk!!

Thanks a lot, everyone. The military has put me so far away from everyone at home over the last five years, it's sad the only real link I've had to him over that time was Facebook.

Sure does remind you to not take any moment for granted, though. Always remember to tell your family you love them, because you never know when you might be at the wrong place at the wrong time.

I am really sorry to hear about your loss. Some people never learn that actions have consequences and many times other people pay the price for their actions. You, your cousin, and the rest of your family will be in my thoughts.
