Is there any ill effects running this tune? Timing of the motor wise... Or really anything?

 

Cool. He is the only one I would get it from. I have heard of people having issues with tunes from other places. He FULLY understands the Ford ECM and knows what he is doing. I was just surprised because I thought he quit selling them due to some issues with the folks at FoMoCo. Sounds GREAT! I wish I could do that to mine!!

 

I had heard this too. From my knowledge of the issue/problem Mr. Lund was the one who first discovered it (outside of the SVT Track Key for the Boss), and there was some debate between him and FoMoCo as far as copyright infringement. But i think that has all been worked out, since Mr. Lund is offering an "aftermarket" service and not something provided by Ford or the SVT division.
I dunno all the details...but i'm glad i got the tune! Car is pulling really hard thru every gear and is just a blast to drive!

 

been running it for about 3 weeks with no ill effects whatsoever...wait, there are some drawbacks:

1) Loss of radio due to wanting to hear exhaust & the thumpa-thump-thump of the tune
2) Car wants to launch as soon as it feels it's going forward
3) Adverse reactions from driver to go WOT
4) Either the car rocks you to sleep or keeps you awake at lights due to the shaking
5) Constant stares from people in cars next to you at lights
6) Unwillingness from driver to turn off car once at destination
7) waiting for car to warm up from cold start to hear the thumpa-thump-thump of tune
8) Distraction from other "things" that need to be done outside of driving your car, just for the pure enjoyment of it
