Just a quick FYI. Dana will not be joining us on the 15th. I just spoke with him and his heart surgery is scheduled for Friday, December 14th At 7:30AM in Gastonia. Let's keep he and Heather in our thoughts and prayers.

I decided it was better to not prolong the inevitable! This way I can be home recuperating at Christmas... The Doctor said he was going in to do two things, first was going to extract the blood clot and close the left ventricle appendage which will prevent future clots and then do what they call a "Maze" procedure. This will hopefully eliminate me from going into A-Fib in the future. The only problem is that I have been in A-Fib so long that the success rate is going to somewhat lower for me.... I always have to make things difficult!!! LOL
