Default 305/35-20 Nitto 555r Drag Radials on my 9.5" SVTPP wheels

Had to do it. No traction was getting old, very fast.

Did some research the past week and found out 305's will work on my 9.5" wide wheels, so I had some 555r's put on today. Of COURSE it was raining, but it cleared up later this evening, and I went for a spin. 53degrees outside according to the in car display. 1st gear will still spin, but 2nd gear on hooks hard. Before I couldn't get 2nd to hook at all...ever.. and most of 3rd if I powershifted, along with spinning in 4th if hit hard. I am in LOVE with these tires now.

A little bit of bulge, but not too bad. Guess I will have a spare set in the building waiting to go on when these wear out.

Dan with Pro Dyno ordered my go fast parts yesterday, and hopefully I will be having them installed along with my MGW shifter and dyno tuned Monday or Tuesday or next week. Feel like a kid at Christmas... oh wait.. it is Christmas.

So, what "go fast parts" did Dan order for you? Nothing like a little early Christmas present.

Metco upper 2.6, 90mm idler, Ford Resonator Delete, SCT Tuner.. parts wise. I already have the MGW ready to go in.. They will be installing everything and dyno tuning the car. Hopefully everything comes in on time to be able to do it Monday or Tuesday. Looking to gain 80+rwhp... hopefully. The car was VERY rich mid range on the stock dyno, so hopefully will still be able to pull some more fuel out on the tune.

Nice choice on the tires, I really need something on mine as well. The stock tires are terrible.

Sounds like you have a few really nice mods coming your way!

Nice beefy tires. Some nice mods going on too. Can't wait to see what they net you HP wise.

Nice job..keep Hypermotive in mind next time when you need parts or tires. Let me know what you think about DR's as DD tires.

I can't wait to get the MGW shifter in.... Now that I am shifting closer to redline I have missed the 1-2 shift a few times with a grind. Annoying Might do the Mobil 1 ATF change like other have mentioned when they do the shifter.

I definitely will. The day I went to get the tires ordered, I thought Discount Tire would do them, which they wouldn't. So I went to a local shop to have my windows tinted and decided last minute to let them order/install them. They wear quick, so I'll yell at Hypermotive for the next set.

So far, driving them daily, they feel no different than any other tire. They performed flawless in the rain on the way home the day of install, and they stick very good. VERY GOOD. This car is so much more fun being able to drive without spinning tires. Only "complaint" I guess I would have is there is ALOT of vibrations in the clutch pedal and shifter near redline. Guess its nature of the beast
