We will work on a chocolate cake. Deb makes a good one.

Dana, we are glad to help a friend. It is still quite strange how this "family" has grown so close.

This thread started at 6:44PM and I'm already three days behind. How is that even possible? I have two additional floor jacks, two jack stands, and another torque wrench
if needed.

Do any of the torque wrenches go up to 250 ft lbs? The spindle bolts need some ridiculous spec thats well past the more common 150 ft lb range for most torque wrenches.

Also does anyone have a sound method for torquing the central strut nut? Think it can be done with a 3/4" drive 21mm socket, 8mm socket, and a 3/8" extension. I tried it with a 1/2" drive socket and 1/4" extension and broke it at about half the spec. I prefer to not use vise grips on the shaft but there may not be a way around it.

Spindle nuts are 166 ft lbs. I don't think the center strut nut has that high of a torque spec. We just ran them as tight as we could on Jennies car.
