What are you working on?
Its getting better. I got some scraps from work to practice with.
I have two original fenders that are rusted around the bolt holes so new ones were ordered and came with the car.
Im going to use the old fenders as patch material. The rusted area shown in the pics is the back of the b pilllar and those are available premade for 39 bucks each.

Don't get carried away with the prefabbed parts, gets expensive quick! Also do you have a spot weld cutter? Think I might get one for an upcoming project, I was using a 1/2" drill bit. Worked ok, just took a bit longer (punny ain't it?).
The Triumph for some reason uses a lot of captive nuts. The panel that is rusted also contains 3 nuts that hold the rear fender on and I just figured it would be better to replace the nuts as well ae the rusted out area.
I found out I can rent a 350 lb sanblaster and a diesel 185 cfm compressor for 125 a day.

I would probably end up around 200 to do it myself. The tub should be able to be done in around 3 hours. Walnut shells is what I was thinking. I can get 100 pound bags for 40 bucks.
Although using play sand would be much cheaper.

And you'd have a beach when you were done, lol.
Dad has a 50 lb pressure pot sandblaster that will do just fine for the panels and any smaller and more delicate stuff.
