Default Anyone use The Bucket Stitch in Greenville?

Just curious if anyone has used The Bucket Stitch in Greenville, SC for upholstery work. I've contacted them about recovering at least the drivers seat but I might do both front seats depending on cost.

Jeffk recovered his himself, I've done an older car. Its not hard, you can buy the covers used or from new take off, then a hog ring installation kit. Save yourself a few bucks.

Well I wasn't sure if their prices for leather would be less expensive. I'm not opposed to doing it myself but I've heard they do such great work I would give them a try. I need seat foam too which I know is easy enough to procure.

It was pretty easy on the S197 platform.

I used cable ties instead of Hogrings. Took me about 3 hours start to finish to do all of the seats front and back. I bought used black leathers from a wrecked car.

I have nothing to add to this except, LOL at your signature quote. And now back to your scheduled programming.

Difficulty is finding used medium parchment leathers for a GT. I don't want to put black seat covers in there. I've heard about using cable ties instead of hogrings.

Default Greenville Bucket Stitch

I have used the Bucket Stitch off and on since the 90's. They replaced the front covers on my GMC Jimmy with OEM parts, and made custom floor mats for my '96 GT Convertible. They also installed a new top on the car for my son. There were some minor issues with the top that they took care of quickly. They have also done some custom work for my MC. I would recommend them.
