Default Sad Day for the Bowtie Brigade

Did you see the sinkhole that swallowed eight Vettes at the Corvette museum in Bowling Green, KY? A truly sad day....

1962 black Corvette
1984 PPG pace car for the Indy 500
1992 white 1 millionth-built Corvette
1993 ruby red 40th anniversary Corvette
1993 ZR1 Spyder on loan from General Motors, a design study that was never built.
2001 Mallett Hammer Z06 Corvette, a one-off tuner model.
2009 white 1.5 millionth-built Corvette.
2009 ZR1 "Blue Devil" on loan from General Motors, the show car for the re-introduction of the ZR1, last built in the early 1990s.

I saw it, horrible day for Corvette lovers. I'm pretty sure they will rebuild the damaged cars if possible.

I saw this. I recommend that Feb. 12th be a national holiday for now on. I don't care if you are brand loyal, this is a tragedy. Should be nationally recognized and treated like any other holiday. No work, no school, no banks, no mail. You get the picture.

I'm good with that.

Crazy, I was relieved to learn it was a sink hole and not some Mustang lover trying to mess with the Corvette. You know how those "young" Mustang Addicts can be.

Good to know no one was hurt.

If only it had been a worm hole with the corresponding end in my back yard.

Genius!

It's a fault of the builders of the museum though. There is no support under the floor. Glad nobody was hurt except corvette lovers feelings, mine included.
