Update - Chele gets to go home tomorrow if nothing changes. She will have a picc line and will be on an iv antibiotic for the next two weeks. Good news is she will be at home and it will be a once daily infusion. After that the docs will assess the situation and see what is next, if anything. You don't know how much it means to read the messages and know people are praying and thinking positive thoughts.

Larry, I hope your niece recovers quickly. Prayers on the way.

Update: Lea has been diagnosed and now they can begin treatment. Took a week? Still in the hospital, but at least they can now begin treatment. Thanks for your prayers.

Larry, sometimes it seems to take them forever to figure out whats wrong. Glad they finally figured it out for Lea and are going to get her better.

 

Need your prayers for a friend.... Howard Black (Red Rage), owner of the Brightstar Grill and Brightstar Radio (He was the DJ at our last show at Pro Dyno). He has had an infection that has now got into his blood stream and affecting his entire body. His sister got him to the emergency room Tuesday evening, they did surgery on Wed am, again yesterday am and have another scheduled for this morning in an attempt to get the infection out of him. Add on top of this congestive heart failure and being a diabetic he is in critical condition.... Dr's now have him dialysis and he is also on a ventilator and say he is in very grave condition and 50/50 at best that he will make it through the weekend. He remains in isolation in the ICU at Caromont Regional in Gastonia.... your thoughts and prayers are needed, thanks... will keep you posted as I get any new info....

 

Wow Dana. That's horrible. Hopefully things turn around for him.
