Hey guys

i know its been a while for me. I got ill before I really got to get involved which sucks. I am feeling better these days so I hope to continue on with being more involved soon.

I have an issue, which I dont trust my local Ford dealer with. they happen to suck. bad.

whenever I go WOT, my shifter buzzes/vibrates and makes a humming sound. It never did that before. it sounds likes its coming from just below the leather curtain or whatever its called.

I have 34K miles and no aftermarket suspension or tranny parts. It is a manual.

does anyone have any thoughts before Cary CRossroads ford tears it up and makes a bigger mess of this?

 

no aftermarket shifter??
only thing i can think of is something loose the shiftbox assembly...it's a pretty shoddy piece of...well garbage...plastic pieces and the bracket is nothing but a u-clamp with a grommet held in with a zip tie...

And yes, before you take it to Crossroads, take it to Capital in Rocky Mount.
