I know Ford made different Mach 1 specials in 1970’s.
Twister and Sidewinder as I recall. But have you heard about Dearborn Special? I can’t find any info about it in internet. Only info we have is in the papers witch we recived when we purchesed the car.
I would be very grateful if anyone can help me with that 🙂

No, I wasn't saying that YOU bought it from a dealer.

The person who bought it in 1970 bought it from a dealer who created his own package -- it was a dealer created edition, not a Ford created edition. Which is why you can't find any information about it.

The papers that came with the car probably list the "dealer installed options" - which if you post a picture of them could be read.

 

I think JimC is correct, this is most likely a dealer created package by a Dearborn Ford dealership.
