Default Stripes

Can anyone modify the hood of my car? It is in the repair shop right now and before paint is applied I would like to see what it will look like. The change I would like to see would be:

1. Color in between the stripes but leave the outer most stripe and make it one continuous stripe. Another words, the center stripes should become solid with an outline stripe.

2. Color in between where the edges of the hood rises along that line line the GTR concept but leave the hood scoop blue.

3. Same as 2 except a 1/4 inch stripe along each side.

Your help is very appreciated in me trying to make up my mind of how I want to do the hood.

my suggestion is, just strip the current stripes... or if they cant be stripped paint over them with the blue basecoat, and get white stripes.

No, just on the hood. I am getting the trunk lid painted between the tail lights and the upper most part of the spoiler painted black.

It is a CDC hood scoop that has the built in turn signals. It bolts to the hood and has 3M tape along the edges.

I just want to see how it would look and if I didn't like it, then I will have the same ones painted on. One that I would like to see would be like this one but with the hood scoop and without the stripes on the left and right of the black area.

if you get the paint job done, whatever it may be... get the inside of the scoop painted black or get a honeycomb grille from a new edge scoop and cut it and put it in there... to atleast make it less noticable that the scoop is fake.

I planned on getting that done also. When I originally bought the hood scoops, the decals were missing and now that I have them, we are going to use them for a template and paint it instead.

good ider. i can just see the decals causin a world of trouble. once you get it painted correctly, you'll never have to bother with it again.
