Default Imageready ?

Ok so I am making myself a new sig and I decided to try out imageready and see what I would do. I followed AR's write up and it was all going good until I pressed the firefox button (to then right click>save image as) and I got this

Where did I go wrong?

no no, you dont even need to save the psd file first. when you export the file to your browser, and go to save it, you have to save it as a gif or else it will only try to save it as a still image using just one frame.

I went back and saved it in PS as a .giff and re-did it in IR, and am going to put in on photobucket and here soon

I know its too tall but except for that will it run smoothly with these specs?

Format: GIF
Dimensions: 500w x 203h
Size: 515.8K
Settings: Custom, 256 Colors, 100% Diffusion Dither, 94 frames, Transparency off, No Transparency Dither, Non-Interlaced, 0% Web Snap

yes that will work, and no its not too tall. the max height is 250.

that file size should be fine. you want to aim to stay under 700ish, otherwise loading time becomes noticeable (the file takes longer to load than the rest of the page), and the first time it runs through the cycle it will tend to lag if the file size is large.
