its time for bed, but when i get back from work tomorrow, ill try to catch martin before he splits, and see what he thinks of the idea. he's lazy but i cant see it being something thats not worth considering.

its not really gonna stop people from doing it... theyll just not read the stickies already assuming its ok to do it in here. but it would be a nice reference.

my idea would be to make a new sub section under this forum for a testing area. that way when they go to click on the Chop Shop forum, they'll hopefully see the sub section "testing area" below and go there instead.

kinda like how each tech section now has a "general discussion" or something along those sorts.

ill have a chat with martin about seeing if he can put in a sub section for it, and see how that works out.

I don't think that it really has to be a sub section though - just make it look like one. I think those 500 errors are a result of the site taking up too much space so a new room could hurt. I say just give it the appearance of a subsection and when you click it you get automatically sent over to the actual room we have now. So really, just make it a simple link with a nice border

that would work too. but the ASP500 errors are the server's host being down, not necessarily this site.

adding a subsection isnt gonna help the sites performance, but hts not gonna be enough to noticibly hurt it.
