Ok so I have tried to make a sig with a transperant background, and everytime I upload it to PB it takes on the background color of PB.

How do you make a background transperant and have it not take the color of PB as the background?

 

are you saving it as a PNG file?

dont bother with photobucket, their imaging sucks especially for stuff like that. plus in a couple months when someone wants to look at an old thread all the image links will be broken.

i was looking through that motivational posters thread and all your image links were broken because you used photobucket to host them. use imageshack and they will stay there forever. plus i have never had a problem with PNG or GIF files using imageshack.

and transparent backgrounds dont work in Internet Explorer. you have to be viewing the file in FireFox to see it correctly.

 

Why not just paint the background with 241 241 241?

Thats how I made my sig...

 

if he's doin stuff for a different site, the background may change. ive done work for other sites where every other post had a different background shade.

They only break when you move them...and recently I organized my entier PB so I dont have to search through 30 pages of ****.

So save as a PNG and it will work?

Ok Ill give that a try next time.
