and they got me adobe photoshop elements 6....and i have no idea if this is a good photoshop or not..i dont want to spend a grand for the CS3 version but can this photoshop do good stuff? or should i return it and dig into my pocket and upgrade?

what do you want to do with it? from what ive seen elements is good for touching up photographs and thats about it. but ive never actually used it. before you go buy CS3, try finding Photoshop 7.0 or CS2 for sale, it will be much cheaper. and if you still want CS3, go buy an upgrade package. it will probably be cheaper to do it that way than just going out and buying CS3 itself. since youve never used photoshop im assuming, youre going to be just as good off with CS2 than CS3. CS2 is more than enough for what you know about the program, and will keep you busy for quite some time. a CS2 upgrade will be much cheaper since CS3 is out now. plus most people, especially on here dont even have CS3 anyway.

ive seen full versions of CS2 on amazon for under $300. im assuming theyre the full version, not just upgrade packages. you might want to follow up on the sellers and see if they are for sure full versions and not just upgrades.

from what ive seen online, it looks like 7.0 is more expensive than CS2. probably because its harder to come by anymore.

well i want to continue making sigs,(right now im using photofiltre) and also i love what hazman is doing and i wanted to be able to do stuff like that

CS2 will be more than enough to do that.

that looks great. i browsed over the description. it looks like its the full version, not an upgrade, and he says you can register it, so its not like he's selling you a copy thats already in use.

i saved that site for other members, since he has like 50 available.
