RTR Chop
That looks awesome...the last step I have to do is to convince my wife that it looks good and not ricey. Don't get me wrong, I am going to order it anyways and not worry about her too much. However, she drives it about 1/2 of the week so I want to make sure she likes driving in it when it looks like this...
Xeno, once again, you are amazing and do great work. Did you do this on illustrator or photoshop? Could you email me the file you used (jjones6@comcast.net)? I'd like to learn...if not, I understand.
THANK YOU!!!

i use photoshop. pretty much the way i did it (for this chop) was to:
1) for the stripes: adding them basically involves 'tracing around' the area you want striped, then adjusting the hue/saturation and/or brightness/contrast to the desired look. eliminating stripes just involves the clone tool and any similar contrasted 'non striped' area.
2) making the dark parts white are similar to the stripe making (select the area you want changed and adjust the hue/sat and bright/contrast)
3) for the wheels, you basically find a 'donor wheel' of a similar angle (in this case, i just used your original wheels), then use the selection tool around the wheels, copy them, and paste them onto the other pic (in this case, the 'rtr' car); then resize accordingly
i can send you the file, but i don't think there would really much to see or deduce from it; just the separate layers that contain what i described above
