i'm a 1st year DPT (doctor of physical therapy for the 'non-medical' people). usually i'm just studying all day, but last week we had a major anatomy test, so i was in and out of our cadaver lab pretty much all day, everyday last week making sure i knew everything.

how soon are you applying for optometry school?

I'm hoping to apply by fall of '13.
I'll be finishing my Assoc. in December so I have quite a while until I have to apply.

That's awesome Xeno, the whole cadaver thing doesn't sound very fun though. :/

Wow that's crazy.. I don't have that kind of work ethic unfortunately... If I did maybe I would be doing better in Calculus.. I understand the stuff in class but once I leave I feel like my IQ drops 100 points.. When I don't understand something it's a bad day...

^ Ha that is the boat I'm in Zpound.
One reason I have to wait until '13 to apply is to get my GPA up a little bit from a rough semester.

calc is definitely one of those classes that has to 'click' for you; i know i had trouble with it at first, but it seemed like one day i 'fully' understood a problem and then almost everything else fell into place with the class

'13 will come quicker than you think, tanner... and i'll bet you'll do fine . it feels like i just started with this, but we're half way through the first semester already... time flies; i'll actually be starting my clinicals the fall of 2013. as far as cadavers go, it was a little weird at first, but now it's no big deal; the more 'skin' you take off the easier it gets

Yeah I'm sure its one those things that you just have to get desensitized to. When will you be out of your program, Xeno?

This place completely changed up..about 4-6 years before I went off to college I used to make hundreds off sigs every month when I had nothing to do in highschool. It used to be fun and everyone in the chop shop was really cool, Now I don't even see any of those guys (duffman, ardoller, and some others) on the forum....glad you guys are still providing this free service! keep of the good work!
