My band, Billy and the Psychotics, is about to launch our official site for our first album debut and we need a banner for the band page.

I've talked briefly about this with joolander and he has a few good ideas. He suggested the band standing in front of our band logo similar to an iconic movie poster. I like that a lot, but we don't have a logo and our animated interwebz mini series project, we are illustrations of ourselves, which we don't have yet.

What I need help with:
1. Creating a logo. We have a few ideas, but nothing solid.
2. A banner for our bandcamp site. The banner will influence the page colors and design.

This is the banner that was made for me here in the chop shop for my solo work by our mod meanstang08.


That is the size I need for the Billy and the Psychotics banner.
We also use our initials BatP.

I've been using this for singles we put on youtube.


But I stole the batman pic from the interwebz. So I don't want it as anything official.

I wouldn't mind a play on the Bacardi bat. But a bat is not necessary and might be too unoriginal (thoughts?)



Also, is there anyone good at any form of illustration? Animation? CG? Let me know.

But for now, I need a banner, even if it's just the band name with no image, like my BLT banner.

Sorry for the wait, HRnB. :/ I don't think I could do anything like that in PS, I'm not good enough in it. I do draw a lot, so if would like I could try to work something up for a logo? If you liked it then someone else with more skill could mock it up.

 

Sounds cool. joo is also going to try to help. We do want illustrated characters of ourselves. Like how we'd look as toons. We will eventually be 100% animated.

 

Something like this? depending on how you arrange or highlight the B A and T. I sort of feel like some band has already done something like this, but this was the only idea I came up with.

 

It just hit me... It's like these guys.

 

Ha, before I scrolled down, I thought it looked like the Aquabats.

I might have to abandon the bat thing. It seems too familiar any way I do think about it. But who knows, there might be a way to do it and not look like a batman ripoff.

 

maybe play off the psychotics, something with a straight jacket, padded room wall for backgrounds, shackles, crazy people...

What type of music do y'all play?

 

Indie, alt classic, Americana rock. that's what the interwebz decided we are.
We each have different music love. but we pretty much like classic rock, punk and sex.

I like the psychotic thought. I have that image too.
