background problem

I have this picture (at bottom) and im trying to learn how to use photoshop to make my own sig. i dont know how to get from the picture to the background. ive been looking at the tutorials, but theyre not helping me much. If anyone can help please do so.

I know about those, i meant making it a clear background so I can use just the car on another background

This would work only if you have layers, it seems like he has a flat (jpg maybe?) image and he wants to remove the background.

You have to use several tools for that, such as: "Magnetic Lasso Tool", "Magic Wand Tool", etc.
Photoshop isn't wasy to use...

if you mean you want to select everything on one layer except the car, then use the polygonal select tool and do an outline around the car, then go to Select > Inverse. doing that will inverse the selection and select everything but the car, then hit delete, and it will delete everything but the car.

i cant exactly figure out what youre trying to ask...
