color code 66 stang

Hi My stang is about to be painted and i need to know the interior paint code for a 66 fastaback mustang with pony interior. It is a dark red i think, the trim code is Dark Red deluxe (pony) 65. can anyone help me out there. Also is it supposed to be semi gloss finish? Also i'm thinking of swaping my 302 mexican engine for a stock 289 engine to put back in my car to make it original. Do you think i'm crazy or ok deal

In the driver's side door jam there should be the plate with all the codes for the engine, body color, etc. By looking there and then seeing what letter code the paint is, that is where you are going to find the actual native color of the original paint. Besides that place I am not sure where else.

Alberto
