I'm working on it too, I'm testing my idea out on my old air cleaner.

200ci66 PM me your address, I'll send you this.

Ignore the crappy welds on the bottom piece lol I'm not used to welding thin metal like that. I also still need to paint the top.

Nice, that would definitely work. Only thing is the '65 air cleaner assembly is a bit different I think.

The outer rim looks taller for some reason, but maybe that doesn't matter as long as the width of the base is the same.

Thanks. I noticed you have the same clutch as I do. Any problems? Mine grabbed badly from day 1. New RYRacing flywheel. They have agreed to replace it as soon as I pull it out. Does yours release smoothly? You've put a lot of work in your car, also.

I honestly have never had any kind of issue at all from day one. I got used to the different feel it has and have been going at it no problem. I have had to slightly tighten the clutch cable twice. I also used a FRPP throw out bearing and then used the SPEC pilot bearing. I installed the SPEC flywheel and the SPEC clutch the same day. Works perfect.
I love working on the car. I want LT headers and a ProChamber soon. Just did the suspension couple of weeks ago. Real Nice Difference!

I am constantly doing or changing something. I just won the bid on a pair of leather Rousch front seats on Ebay last night. That is my next project. I just recently installed 3-point seat belts and Maier Racing subframe connectors, cross member, and Bilstein shocks (Made a huge difference in the handling). I am also getting ready to box my trunk to clean it up. I am also working on a new EFI 302 roller with Trickflow Twisted Wedge heads,Comp cam, etc. Have a mild, non-roller with a T5 in it now. Legend Gear & Transmission 3.92 posi-rear, 17"AR500 custom wheels with Goodyear SS/AS tires on it. Also have Wilwood 12 1/4" discs on all 4's. That's some of the stuff I have done. I have a 3" book documenting my build and the life savings (LOL) in parts I have used. That's why I call it Bad Obsession. I doubt if it will ever be finished. I hope to be able to get a set of custom KOOK's long tube headers made for it soon. I love working on mine to, but I have a developed a heart problem from exposure to Agent Orange in VN (so I am told) and it has really started slowing me down. Not bitc**n, but just a fact of life.
