RE: Pics of your rides.
Hey guys, I guess this isa good place to introduce myself. I just found the forum last week and am glad I did, it's already been a lot of help. I've got a '68, bought it with a 302, C4 and 8". Now is in the midst of a transformation to 390, C6, 9", disk brakes and a bunch of other goodies. These pictures are old, but I'll get some new ones up soon once I get it running.

RE: Pics of your rides.
Name: Debbie (doesn't anybody name their cars anymore?)
1969 modified CA black plate Grande: orig 302, Edelbrock 650, C4, 3.25, dual 2.75' pipes, functional CJ scoop, Boss suspension, Mach 1 paint application & spoilers, Cragar ss', hood tach.
Sport mirrors are physically the same as stock Mustang mirrors for the Grande and Sportsroof models, but mine are actually from a '69 Ranchero. The difference is that both are remote controlled, and the pass one has a 8' cable that reaches the console. No one cares about this but me, of course, lol.
I reinstalled the vinyl roof to give it a Grande-that-wants-to-race look. It's strange, but it's my way of being unique. 368,000 miles as of 7/08.
Daily driver since 1991.

RE: Pics of your rides.
It's just a 67 c code. I bought the car 2 1/2 years ago with the body work already done. Since then I have added:
4 wheel disk brakes
t-5 transmission
built a 302 for it
currie rear end (still an 8" though)
aluminum radiator and electric fan
built the stereo (4 speakers and 10" sub)
rack and pinion steering
sequential led tail lights
true h.i.d. headlights
replaced all the window regulators
and put dynamat and dynaliner everywhere my fingers could reachi in the car from the firewall to taillights
all the bushings were rotted out of the suspension wre rotted out, so I wound up replacing the entire suspension and added sway bars (front and rear)
and a few other things I just can't remember at the moment.
So, did I do the bodywork myself? No. But did I build the car myself? Yes.
