Default 80's 302 5spd, 65' install

How would an 80's Mustang 302 5spd install into a 65 Mustang? The mounts? The trans? The shifter?

im not sure but i think you need to cut the tunnel, raise it some, and move the shift hole

but that may be for something else
someone please verify

I believe the T-5 will not require any modification of the tunnel. If you are doing a conversion from an auto you will need to muster up a clutch pedal decide on a cable or hydraulic clutch.

You have to raise the tunnel if you use a TKO, a T5 should fit with no tunnel mods.

The T5 will fit without modification, but watch your pinion angle. Depending on the rear ride height you may need to modify the angle. The TKO and T56 is bulkier near the tail shaft and it hits the cross brace. You don't have this issue with the T5, but make sure if you upgrade the power output of your engine that the stock T5 can handle the increased torque.
