Question about brakes....

Going to have to save up some money now.
He started the 65 today and when he pushed down the brake pedal, he said it went down too easy and did not feel right
So it might not have brakes at all right now ( too scared to try it in the garage, dont want to roll into something and cant stop) This sux

This primered beauty has ZERO brakes. I pulled it out of the garage last fall and let the clutch out a little too fast. I rolled into about 6 inches of mud to get it to stop.
