Default Roller Block sleeper

Hi,
i am going to put a 94 roller block into a 67. I am going to keep it carberated and i have just about all the parts sourced. I need some help with the distributor. I know that the roller block has steel cams and I need to get a distributor gear to match. After its all said and done i think that an 85 5.0 distributor will work since it has a steel cam as well. The question i have is how do I wire it up? Do I cot the pigtail off and then whire the red one to the coil and the black to ground? Also to note would be the no more points and a great sleeper look with the gt40 heads and painted dual plane edelbrock intake. Thanks for your time. Please PM if you have any info that could help or forcefedfun@yahoo.com
