When the car sits outside overnight and everything inside cools down to the ambient 30 degree temperature, you'll want gloves. Especially because that honking metal shifter handle doesn't warm up at all.

I don't see the point to driving gloves. I don't like wearing gloves anyway. So, wearing them while driving would bother me.

If you really like driving with gloves, and want the feel, but don't care about the look, get a pair of Rawlings batting gloves.

I play polo, and got them because they're just like polo gloves, except they cost $9 for a pair, instead of $65.

The grips are leather, the webbing is cotton, they breathe, they're lightweight, and they're designed to grip really well effortlessly. MLB players wear the same gloves. They work great.

If you want to look cool as well, you can get a pair of true, snap-on kidskin driving gloves, which are dyed any color you want. They'll cost a bit more, but they'll match your interior or whatever.

If you're wearing them to keep warm, maybe you should just get around to changing that blown heater core, and stop putting it off.

Whatever you decide to do, just be sure to keep them in the glove box. That's why your car it equipped with one.

This is a very entertaining thread as well as interesting. LOL

I always wondered about the whole driving gloves thing. Does it really make you feel bad a$$ to wear them?
Please post a pic of the gloves that you decide on.

and hey......it is a classic car so maybe the driving gloves would go ok with it?
